Discovering Bangladesh Book 1

The contents of Discovering Bangladesh: Book I are divided in four parts – (i) History, (ii) Culture and Heritage, (iii) Geography and Environment, and (iv) Civics and Society. Parts (i) and (ii) present a consistentpicture of Bengal’s ancient history, culture and heritage. In part (iii) the historical and cultural journey is then followed on by an informative presentation on Bengal’s geography and environment. Part (iv) of the textbook covers topics like children’s rights and responsibilities, family values, patriotism, etc.
